Account and Project Coordinator


Job purpose

  • As the Account & Project Coordinator, you will work closely with the Account Manager and Project Manager within a ‘Pod’ team managing a specific set of accounts, to provide support and execute on marketing communication as it relates to above the line and below the line advertising programs.
  • In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the creation of project plans, campaign plans, maintaining status/campaign/competitive reports and other marketing presentations, and tracking campaign and project performance through reporting and analysis.
  • The role will include aspects of supporting the business on both a client-facing account side as well as internal-facing project management side. This role involves heavy collaboration and coordination with Creative, Content, Media, Social Media and Digital departments and teams within the agency.
  • This role requires an understanding of SCS agency and clients’ needs and to quickly grasp each entity’s goals, and make use of the resources of the agency, to coordinate the people and assets in the content & creative departments effectively and ensure client and agency satisfaction
  • This role requires industry experience, expertise, and the application of judgment based upon these factors for the execution of successful campaigns for SCS clients

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand and lead lifecycle of advertising campaign creation from creative development to execution
  • Support daily business operations as it relates to advertising, content, social, and creative production
  • Coordinate the design, development, and creation of campaign planning
  • Regularly research and maintain competitor analyses as it relates to the account
  • Communicate and document project status and strategic recommendations to team members on a regular basis; escalate issues accordingly via the appropriate channels
  • Assist in managing schedules, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed upon
  • Identify KPIs and track performance metrics for campaigns
  • Coordinate client requests with internal teams to meet deadlines
  • Support the Account Manager in aspects of client-facing account planning and account management
  • Support the Project Manager in aspects of project management, scheduling, internal communication between departments, and budget and project tracking

Qualifications

Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related field a plus, Project Management or Account experience a plus
  • Keen interest and experience in digital marketing, project management, and analytics
  • 1 to 2 years of marketing experience and/or project management experience
  • Flexible self-starter and team player with a “can-do” attitude and experience working in fast paced environment managing multiple projects and tasks to meet deadlines
  • Works well with deadlines, under pressure and handles interruptions well
  • Analytical and creative thinker with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and solid organization, time management and follow up skills
  • Up to date understanding on social and digital trends
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, copywriting experience a plus
  • Experience with creative process, production shoots and related processes
  • Experience with social media or digital media a plus
